Located in the south-east of the Dordogne department, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the Vézère Valley is intimate and mysterious. The valley contains an exceptional heritage that gradually reveals itself to those who know how to decipher the traces left by countless generations. Crossing its morning mist in a canoe is an invitation to live a sensitive experience, to immerse oneself in a profound nature, inhabited by Man for 400,000 years. You have to approach this territory with a particular sensitivity, taking your time. This privileged moment allows you to perceive the magic of the natural play of light. The river is alternately hidden and seen. The agricultural mosaic forms a backdrop to the many villages. The limestone formations are sometimes visible, sometimes hidden by the vegetation.
